If I've learned anything, date friends, don't date best friends, you risk ruining something great if you date a best friends, and it's not like you're so pathetic you can't find anyone else to date. Dating friends on the other hand gives the relationship a better foundation and leaves room for the relationship to expand not only romantically but in a friendship as well, and if it ends on a good note, you're likely to gain yourself yet another best friend that you trust both romantically and sexual, who can advice you with future endeavors. Friends of the opposite gender who you have been sexual active with in the past often know what's best for you in future relationships, because understand a whole other dimension to your personality that most others do not, and perhaps even yourself do not fully understand. Not to mention having a sexual relationship with a friend introduces a whole other level of comfort when discussing things you'd normally not feel confident to discuss with the opposite sex, you can learn a lot from dating and remaning friends afterwords.

But back at the subject on hand, you really shouldn't risk ruining a best friendship for the sake of dating, to be perfectly honest best friends are every bit as good as boyfriends/girlfriends, and it's not like you don't have other options.

You read it wrong :P Being with her I realize that its not only about s3x that will make me complete,there are a lot of things that happen to us and we knew that whatever happens good or bad only death now can make us separate(I want to express the feeling but I cant, so just in a Nostalgic way)..Im 22 years old and I admit I'm not a virgin anymore.,.,

@apex
All i can say is both of us is not forcing ourselves to be in our situation today but we can feel and know in our hearts that we need each other, that tells me how great our relationship became.

I hear you guy, albeit through broken English which is strange since you're from the U.S.....

Some people can just have that type of relationship with the opposite sex. I have two friends that I consider to be my best friends, one male and one female. While the male friend has been there for me, and I for him, for nearly twenty years, I find that I'm far closer to the female friend. It's just a different kind of connection. We both know that there will never be anything physical there, especially considering we're both married and have children with our spouses. It's really the understanding and the support that connects us. We do the same thing for a living, we can toss baby questions back and forth, can complain about our shitty days without having to bother our significant others with them... And while we're 200 miles away from each other, we'll gladly make that drive if we're needed. A pretty good deal.

There's nothing wrong with dating a best friend. In some cases it might work out better for you than another person that you would meet. Also if you date your best friend and it doesn't work out and things can't go back to normal, then maybe you weren't really best friends to begin with and were really just friends. My wife was my best friend from the time we were 4 years old(almost 22 years ago), and we've been together since 7th grade. It works perfectly because we know each other so well, which makes it easy to know how to deal with each other's moods and habits.

Can you be specific on what type of love you have for your best friend? You mean love in a family sort of sense correct? Not that there is a problem with romantic love.

Love that even I think before is impossible. I think its a love that only me can understand,I don't know why and how it happens but one thing I am SURE that love will never fade on both of us. I'm not just thinking or maybe I don't want to think of the future events because I open my mind on all the possibilities that may or may not happen to us, and I knew now that I can accept all of it. ;)
