Ohaaii.
I miss the old gbatemp.
I started out here when I was trying to figure out how to make some games work on my original r4 (it needed an update).
Lurked here a lot.
I was kinda scared cause I was the only guy with a Philippine flag back then, and I thought nobody would respond to me.
The I got a Wii, a japanese one. I had a lot of trouble so I checked in temp, and there was a thread about Jap wii users. I asked a question there but nobody responded. So I just researched shit on my own.
Then Wii hacking blossomed. Man those were the good times. I was kinda pro at it I was helping others set up their stuff, telling them to remove gc memcards and shit. Fun part is I got my Japanese Wii converted to a USA one.
These were the times where people hacked their Wii for the sake of hacking it, for the apps and homebrew. I remember booting up TP then making Link jump/walk back everytime I wanted to run homebrew. Pretty sick.
Then came wad installers and shit, then the usb loaders, and too many newbs not knowing what to do.
It attracted those people who wants to hack their wii because it's free games. Don't get me wrong, I also use the USB loaders, but that wasn't the sole reason I had installed TP hack on my wii.
It became very frustrating. I just became a lurker and observed.
Man those were good times.
Now, just seems like everybody hates newbs pretty much. Some people really need help, but they just get called noobz. That's fucked up. And the cycle repeats itself, Some other person needs help, noobz call them noobz. I mean wtf!
The only thing that actually irritates me is the people who posts about "is 3ds hacked nao?" or "idea to hack 3ds" damn bullshit. If the 3DS gets hacked, it will probably on the first fucking page. And if you have a legit idea on how to hack the 3DS, wait, no you don't.
Also, people posting shit threads for fame.
I don't think that when the 3DS or Wii U ever gets hacked, that people will appreciate it like back then with the Wii. It's kinda sad.
lotsa people came and went. I still recognize some other of the active people out here. But meh.
Also: Testing Area. (newtemps don't even know )
---
Side note, Im taking a vacation to go back to the Philippines with the family. Flight is on monday.
Also gonna take some university entrance tests while I'm in there. I'm not going to review any shit so wish me luck.
