I fel your pain. My server's out too because of power outage. As for griefing, you might be able to use WorldEdit to get rid of it depending on how bad it was. Then put WorldGuard.

We have both, though I don't know if Tag knew exactly what World Guard could do.

Stomach pain is the worst -- I had an ulcer once. Made me want to rip my stomach out.

I had a shot given on the tip of my finger once (for a wart, lol). That was the worst acute pain, but it only lasted about 2 minutes. The ulcer was about 12 hours.

WorldEdit can restore a section of map to its default layout (AKA what it was when it first spawned) using //regen, but it can't do squat against griefed buildings and such. Unless you're talkin' about spammed blocks, in which case yeah you can do simple shit like removenear and all that.

Every server should run LogBlocks or a similar plugin. Logblocks is fantastic and it makes grief 1001% useless.
WorldGuard is a nice precautionary plugin but logblocks gives more freedom while still making all grief useless (doesn't stop it, but it takes 5 seconds or less to revert).

It can fix many things aside from TNT/Creepers or just block destruction. Griefer places lava everywhere? Select region and use //replace lava air.

or //removenear or //drain
Yeah. But once again, logblocks is the king of killing griefing.
