Haven't posted a blog in a long time...but yeah.
I have been considering developing a new Wii Virtual Console WAD creator just recently. I previously tried making one in batch, but it failed. Plus, I decided that a GUI was cooler in my opinion. So I settled on a small wizard-like GUI for my WAD creator application.
If this was a collaboration, I would mostly do the interface. I would probably post the source on Github so other people can do research and implement other stuff such as injecting the ROM, doing the customization, creating the WAD, downloading one from NUS(?), etc., because I'm not really an expert at that kind of stuff. I'm just hoping that some other developers can do those kinds of jobs.
Here's a small preview:
Thanks to @The Real Jdbye for coming up with the name "Wiinjector". By the way, I am using Visual Studio 2010. I know it's a bit outdated, but I like it better than the new ridiculous Metro-style Visual Studios of today.
Please note that the final version may or may not be different from the screenshot(s) shown here due to potential development resets.
Bye for now
