dream

Ever have one of those dreams that was so lucid, so real, so impossible, that when you awaken from it you do not know where you are or who you are?

A dream so powerful that your stirring moments after it seem less real then the dream itself.

Beyond the impossibilities of time, logic, life and death, even during it you know it to be an illusion. But still, your subconscious yields to the lie, and you let yourself live it until the morning comes.

And then, after lying to yourself, the only comfort you have is the fading memory of a lucid dream.

And you can only hope that one day you can lie to yourself just one more time, and be lucky enough to dream that dream again.

I've recently had one of those dreams. It really felt like it was real, but then I woke up.

It seems you didn't like my original post....
I'll guess I'll give a serious response.

I have had a dream like this, in the dream I was getting married, just from that I realised something was weird. (I had this dream when I was 10 years old, and in the dream I was also 10) And I didn't even know who I was getting married to, then the whole thing just went completely off track and turned into some bad drama.
Then I woke up.

I have actually. Numerous times within the last year.
You feel like Dorothy returning to black & white Kansas from technicolor Oz when you wake.....without all the hugs and smiles.

I had an incident like that once, years ago. I was maybe 14? I had discovered furry stuff (mainly stories) on the internet, had a dream about it, woke up and cried a lot.

...I had a very lucid nightmare about Nanashi no Game after I played it for the first time. When I woke up, I had sleep paralysis, too, so I thought I had turned into a statue. When I was finally able to move, I was screaming and freaking out. Chell and Alessa had to slap me in the face and restrain me until I realized where I was and that it was just a dream. It was extremely frightening. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm a proofreader/playtester for the game, I would have never played the game again.

At least now the game no longer scares me.

You know what's both awesome and scary? If you dream that you dream something, then wake up in your dream, something bad happens, you think it's real and then wake up again.

I had one where I was in some kind of afterlife world, I was just wandering around a wide field and there was lots of people who were ghost like, I felt ill when I woke up and my vision was distorted. Then I had another one where i was in college and when I told myself to dance I did and could feel myself doing it, It felt like I was under water and this time I woke up with a heavy feeling in my head. I can't think of anymore. First time I thought I died the second I thought I was really in college Xo

I've been having these kind of dreams often. What happens afterwards is horrible.

Once I wake up, I cannot tell the difference between reality and the dream. I'm unsure as to whether I am dreaming or if I'm actually awake. The fear that encompasses me is unbearable and then everything suddenly to change. Everything surrounding me feels real again, I start feeling real. And then the feeling disappears.
