Happy 4th of July to everyone in the US.

What is everyone doing for the holiday?

Me and my family are having a BBQ/pool party. We invited all our friends and neighbors over, then going to light off a ton of fireworks we got from Mexico. =P
We bought 20lbs of carne asada, 10 packs of hot dogs, and 10 packs of hamburger patties, so I think we're pretty much set as far as food goes.

I don't think I have any plans. I'm gonna do laundry and probably eat some leftovers. Hell, I might even shave my beard.

Why shave your beard? I personally like having a beard, but my wife always makes me shave it off, so i just keep a goatee.

I don't really care about the 4th of July, mainly because it's inaccurate, right? The signing of the Declaration of Independence took place over a month, I thought. To avoid British soldiers.

I'm not gonna do anything as my parents don't even know about today. :P

Happy 4th of July everyone! I don't think I'll be doing much. You can't do a whole lot in the middle of New Jersey (the state bans fireworks) as a vegetarian on the 4th of July.

Officially they do but people do it anyway. They just go to Pennsylvania to buy all their fireworks and unless you live near asshole cops they usually let you do fireworks, provided you're doing them safely.

It's the fact of when it was published, not signed by every delegate. Although that is interesting, I've never heard of it before.
