hate not being 18 >__>

so i was at this party with a friend and i didn't really know anyone there except for my friend who invited me. all the people there were sound and it was pretty good but about now im heading home because there all going to "town" (clubbing) and me being 17 (18 in july) is killing me slowly, like whem they all went i was actually a bit depressed knowing i had to stay home :\, i was thinking of paying for my brothers ID (hes 19) and is basically a twin when it comes to appearance so i might just order and pay for his and rob it every now and then until july, what do you guys think ? and how many people here hate not being old enough to go clubbing ( i mean i get in everywhere around my area but the clubs is where i fail)

I would suggest not to take your brother's ID, 'cause if you get caught, your in some deep shit. I actually don't want to grow up. (13 at the moment) I enjoyed my child hood and would hate to say goodbye. *sigh* I guess we all have to grow up some day.... Except for peter pan, but he's a disney bitch.

Well, actually me and my friend went out a few weeks ago, and we were too old to come in to a place! :P

But yeah, sucks for you not being 18 yet. But once you hit 18, and 19 and 20... soon the fun'll wear off and clubbing aint that great :P

I miss the days when a pedo would have found me attractive. It was flattering knowing at least someone out there would have raped me.

LOL CLUBBING, im 20 and i can tell you it get boring put this way. You pay to go in to a small room filled with people get hot after dancing ect and need a drink so u pay 5x the normal price for a drink until ur drunk or bored. clubbing aint all that its cracked out to be there alot more intresting thing to do 18 other than clubbing.

If it makes you feel any better...

nevermind.

Believe me you'll love being young, I'm only 16 and someone said I looked 21, I felt so old. It's because of my height really. The good thing is I can buy alcohol because people think I'm older than I am.

:O stop talking about me!!!!!!

Yeah, when you're young all you want to do is to grow up (except for BobTheJoeBob), but when you're grown up, all you want is to be young again.

I wish for those days, when life wasn't as tough, when money wasn't a problem insurances and work and complicated relationships... gah... and still 22 isn't all that grown up :(

Or in holland :)

Anyway, since ur like twins with your older brother...
Wtf is stopping you?

When I was 15 I edited my ID cart, and I printed it in black and white.
I just took the whole print (a4), and when they asked for it, I said my mom didnt let me bring my real ID, because I'd loose it.

That's also a choice.

Good luck :)

I doubt being 18 is all that it's cracked up to be, I just want to live my life carefree when I was like 5-10 years old. Yeah, those were the days......

I'm 25 and I WISH I could be 16 again. Clubbing is not fun, you just get to grind up against some random ass woman that may or may not let you buy her a drink, and by the end of the night she leaves with her Entourage of bimbo friends.

Being 18 is so very very boring. If anything I'm more conscious about getting in trouble.

Well, honestly... being 18 is a relief here in sweden. you can vote, go out and drink alcohol, and buy low alcohol drinks to your home. (20 if you want the stronger stuff).
you can drive, you can buy smokes, get a credit card that you can use online etc... :)

But other than that, I'd be 16 on any given day... wanna go back 6 years in time!

1. Nothing is fun once you get used to it. The only reason you want to go is because you can't. Trust me, it's what you do.

2. Bad idea to steal an ID. Seriously.

3. I don't hate it (I'm 19 but most clubs around here req. 21 just to get in)...It's really not all that fun anyway

---------

Besides, have fun working full time, going to school full time, paying taxes, paying bills, living from paycheck to paycheck, even with help (Minimum wage ~= 7.25 / hr.....livable wage: ~12 / hr), and generally not having time to club. Even if you do have time, you won't want to because you are exhausted.

Adulthood is not fun if you're not still being supported by your parents.

Being 16 sucks (in my situation anyway). Don't have a car, career, can't go anywhere. I'm just waiting to turn 17 so I can enlist and get out. Guess this is one of those "grass is greener with another age" kinda deal.

Dude, just borrow your brothers ID, if you look really the same.

or go to the Netherlands, you can even go clubbing when your 16 like my fellow Dutchies told!
