noobs asking nooby question and ex noobs getting mad over it

i hate it when ex noobs get mad at noobs for asking nooby question when they should be kind and answer there question instead of be mad and yell or report them. they been noob them self

Hey at some points google was only one click away. Some questions were just as easy to find just by typing in (example) "Kingdom hearts AP patch" on google instead of making a thread about. At that point I think people have the right to get upset and or when someone posts the same questions 3 times. Sorry there are mistakes, then there is just being a total noob

There are different categories of ex noobs.

Those who asked silly questions when they where noobs.

And those who read some threads for some weeks with respect.

This last group has every right to get angry if "OMG MY R4i DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE" postings appear...

i hate it when people dont use any sort of grammar or capitalization or punctuation making a rant about people calling them out for being annoying.

Yeah, though, there's an epidemic of anti-noob sentiment here right now, because there's always a flood of you when new Pokémon games come out in Japan. There's anti-piracy, it won't work on any carts, and there's no translation.

That all?

Ehem.

Sorry, I actually meant 'no', not 'not'...

Oh, wow, I made two typos...I'm out of it today...

The first line was a parody, however.

Before I made a post on here, I lurked for a few weeks and read the forums. I knew nothing about flashcarts, setting up a flashcart or what flashcart to purchase and had even even used a DS. I never had to ask any of those questions about any of those, as all the information I needed was already on this forum.

N00bs are always n00bs. Newbie does not equal N00b, newbies are people who are inexperienced but still have a brain. A Noob is someone who is incapable of searching a forum and instead wants someone else to find that information and spoon feed it to them. Noobs are normally ignorant.

I was a newb.

Not a noob.

Difference.

Newb: *posts in DS section* "Hey, I have *insert problem* with *insert DS game*, any ideas how to fix?"
(Or ever better, the Newb used the SEARCH FUNCTION, or the 'looking on the first fucking page of the appropriate forum' function to find an answer to their question)
Noob: *posts in xbox360, wii, blog, and EoF* "HAY GUISE MAH POKEMANZ GAIM DUN WURK IT FKN SUCKS, LOL! FKN FIX IT FER MEH NAO!!!"

Problem: Too many noobs, not enough newbs these days.

I've never been as bad as some of the jackwagons who stumble their way on here and ask stupid questions. Yeah, I did a stupid thing or two here but never as stupid or as useless as I see some people make.

@SylverReZ, the other game where I found newgrounds is new york shark
    +1
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
The 2006 versión was made when the flash portal was made
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's been there for a long time, too. People who search for lost media don't look hard enough lmao.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, also the pico 2 demos used to be only for the newgrounds patrons but they are on internet archive too (https://archive.org/download/picos_school_2)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Iirc the demos were removed from newgrounds in 2022
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, or well only the demo with mindchamber's style was on newgrounds
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Fun fact @SylverReZ: iirc one of the goals on the fnf Kickstarter stated that pico 2 would be finished but the Kickstarter didnt get enough money for that goal to be fullfiled
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, FNF sucks, their community is toxic as hell.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@SylverReZ its a single player game
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, Yea but it has a shitton of mods with their own songs and stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and quite a lot of people involved in those mods get cancelled
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Newgrounds wasn't the birth of FNF; rather, it was games where you beat up celebrities and parodies.
