What the heck happened here?

Somehow Minecraft forgot a ton of its textures, and I mean a ton. Achievements, tooltips, everything. In the fourth image, it failed to recognize its own files and JSON definitions. In other words, Minecraft on the Switch is broken.

Minecraft on Switch is ALWAYS fucking up somehow. I can't even load the game without something like this happening. Along with other odd things, such as floating villagers.

ah, bugrock. never change.

never had this happen to me, but i've counted at least ten times each where the game either doesn't load blocks, heavy slowdown like you're a mile away from a McDonald's wifi point, "crashed" (game freezes and you can do anything, but waiting on the home screen for at least 10 seconds and going back always seems to work for me). all on a singleplayer world.

it just seems to be poorly optimized for the system. things like this make me wish we still had console edition (we technically still do, mojang just couldn't update it and discontinued it)
