It has been a while I didn't made a new entry, time really flies especially since I started some finance activities, however I still want you to keep updated and so that's why you're reading this
For the first thing,
- Gen7 Engine brings a new feature onboard: LiveDOM
You may have thought Gen7 development went in a long hibernation, but reality is far from that
All that time, Gen7's development emphasised on stability and simplicity of use, to enable the most of developing their own interactive applications on their own console, and LiveDOM is gearing towards this goal.
So what's that new feature? Well, LiveDOM enables anyone to create its own interactive layout and application, by using XML/DOM-like documents read in realtime, and providing users a simple way to use internet to the the last content online and even bring creative and powerful interactivity to these thanks to predefined actions. And that on all the platforms that Gen7 supports so far: Wii, Switch, PSP, Windows, Linux and maybe more soon.
Online pages, wikis, simple games, news... all can be made just by using LiveDOM without any specific prerequirement or environment.
Simple yet a powerful system, and capitalising on Gen7's flexibility and performance, this new feature opens a world of new possibilities, free and open to everyone.
- New domain for all our activities: idpowered.com!
The previous domain, idstudio.live shown to be too limited, and the legacy has .com is mandatory for may things, so idpowered.com solves that!
- Mark your calendars, PSPHDC22 is on its way!
As you have probably seen, I always been a partner of the PSP Homebrew Developer Conference, for now 2 editions and it's with pleasure that I'm sharing with you the 3rd edition for this year of this exclusive event, on March 26 (more details coming in a new post).
To remind you, not only about the PSP, the PSPHDC is a large conference where multiple developers share their projects, software or hardware, present educative content about homebrew development, or even new findings. And the new Gen7's LiveDOM feature will get its dedicated presentation there!
(And yup, the camera DoF/focus still needs to be adjusted)
