Slight portal update

That's what I call team work alright!
Narin and I have just finished polishing up a nice little new feature for the portal.
You can now find out how many users are connected to the IRC channel as well as get the list of users that are connected.
You'll find this on the portal in the online users box:



If you click on the amount of users you'll get the list of users online.
The list is displayed in a neat ajax box ("Highslide" library, google it).



We hope you enjoy this nice little extra.

This feature is indeed handy :D

It even highlights IRC usernames which correspond to a GBATemp account! :O

Yeah it vanished yesterday, right after the site was experiencing a load of connection problems. Since it went everythings been running fine, I wonder if the two are connected? :unsure:

yeah it was disabled temporarily as we were running tests.
The server is having problems lately, we're changing servers *again* soon, probably next month.
The feature is back but our problems aren't all gone yet, won't be completely solved until we change servers.

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
