Wow. That's a nice way of using the cube. Almost makes me reconsider using Cube or not sadly my machine is a little old and I'm saving the resources I can for other things (I still use Compiz Fusion I just have Cube disabled as it uses a significantly larger amount of resources IMHO).
How long did it take you to make? Or, wait, are all 4 sides identical? I was originally under the impression that they were all unique and, together, formed a level.
Still neat for a few seconds though.
Old? =( I thought it was kinda original for the cube.

Neat to see another Ubuntu user
I spend a few hours on it, counting learning how to use Wine (Gens+ and sonic hacking tools), Audacity, and GIMP (why oh why didn't i stick with photoshop). I made the looping wallpaper out of level tiles and it was such a pain I was too lazy to do three more.
I like how the splash is all wavy color bars but static text.
You could have said "Compiz-fusion Cube Sky sanctuary Zone" It took me a while (read: more than 1 second) to realise that was a specially textured cube...
