Why are you so addictive...?

A little more than a month ago I got my first true gaming rig. After playing some games on my friend's pc, I figured it would be nice to own a good rig for myself, so I got it. I don't know what it is about PC gaming but it is waaaaay to much fun. Much more fun than playing on my 360 or PS3. I am even playing the same games I own on 360 on my PC! I've logged in so many hours into Skyrim in only a week! Doesn't help that steam is such eye-candy with it's decent prices and GUI. Plus free games?? Just played Super Monday Night Combat which was really fun. Tonight I realized I am addicted. I started playing GTA IV at 11:00pm (EST) telling myself, ok I have to wake up early, I should only play for an hour. I just finished playing, and the time now is 3:44am!!! I've never played games in such long sessions. Part of this tells me this is a good thing though, as it tells me that this PC was well worth my investment. Bad thing is, I only have 4 hours of sleep to go for today... Do any of you guys enjoy PC gaming more than console gaming?

PC gaming is excellent. I just wish I had the money to set up a rig. Alas this is the life of a student.

Saying that, I will never ditch console gaming because Japanese devs still seem to favor consoles.
