R4 Wood for DSTT R4 clones (r4gold SDHC and others)

R4 Wood for DSTT R4 clones (r4gold SDHC and others) 1.3

ATTENTION! THIS FIRMWARE COMPATIBLE ONLY WITH TopToyDS/DSTT flashcards and their R4 clones (flashcards that displays error screens on white background)! Do not launch on original R4 or other clones/flashcards as it WILL BREAK YOUR FLASHCARD (it will require manual recovery through Nintendo 3DS flashing or soldering)

If your flashcard error screens looks the same then it's compatible:

Instructions:
1. Extract archive contents to MicroSD root
For best compatibility make sure that softreset stays disabled (Start>Settings>Patches>in-game reset>Disabled)
To play Pokemon black/black2/white/white2: enable game cheats then enable "Game enabler" cheat

This is latest open source R4 Wood version that was ported over to TopToyDS core. This was made as original TTMenu or R4Menu kernel alternative to bypass timebomb and increase compatibility. It works better than YSMenu as it supports mod patched/translated/non-clean dump ROMs.

This is now primary firmware (boots when flashcard startups, will replace your current primary firmware executable)

Had issues on r4i 3ds (would white/black screen for any game) i got a older version of the card and it works perfect fantastic work.
Thanks a lot for this port. It works great for the most part.
First thing I'd like to say is that you should add that you need to rename the R4.DAT file in the instructions. It wasn't working for me at first, but then on a whim I tried renaming it to TTMENU.DAT thinking for sure it wouldn't work, and then it did.
Second is that I can confirm that, like the other commenter, I get white screens when booting certain games. So far the ones that haven't worked for me are Picross DS, Clubhouse Games, Big Brain Academy, New Super Mario Bros, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, and Space Invaders Extreme. These were all untrimmed, but I've tried several patched and trimmed games and they've worked great.
I'm using a white DSTT flashcard with a 16GB card.
Does this work with ds lite?

Depends on the flashcard, not the console. See description

Are you near sea/salt water, or in general they just don't last. Sounds like if you driving a mercedes, you need a garage. I get snow n ice here so nothing worse than clearing that shit off at 6am rushing to get to work.
