iirc, you have to call microsoft. how to remove parental lock is either based on sku or serial number. I think it's the latter. they'll have to walk you through it.

I KNOW THAT EXACTLY, but i still see posts asking for unlock code. It has to based on some algorithm !

I recall something with being able to edit the parental lock code in NAND on a hacked machine but I don't know of any of the Wii U like generators.
you're correct. the parental code is in the nand, and can be extracted. I think it's a certain offset, so he'd have to google it. this is assuming he can dump the nand though.

So simple answer is NO THERE IS NOT, which is strange as anyone would assume that after such time someone would create some thing like that.

It still is an incorrect answer.

You're also providing no additional details about your 360, the only thing we can do at this point is take blind guesses of what could work.

The only way to get the combination as of now is to dump your NAND and read it in jrunner, that will be able to tell you the button combination as well as allow you to remove the parental controls right from jrunner itself so they are removed when you flash the NAND back

It does a clicking sound and Windows doesn't recognize it
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
clicking = bad, i'd still try it on a linux box or a mac, out of desperation
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Do you recommend any way to back up?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
I will keep trying, but that clicking sound seems like the moving parts are stuck or something
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
i use a mac, so I just leave time machine running, not real sure how to back up on a windows box

I had a weird thought, Sega with the Saturn it was a train wreck a pile of chips, but it does kind of fit the design philosophy of Sega at the time.... The Genesis/Sega CD/32X machine was probably loads of fun to program for
