Hello,

I tried to search around, but can't seem to find this exact issue. So, I'm hoping someone here could help?

I just hacked my Wii yesterday, and have been playing around with what it can do. I learned that it could install themes, and I was very excited! So I got one, a dark one. And it worked fine, I followed every instruction and step on wii.guide to the letter, but it doesn't seem to work correctly.

While the Wii boots up without issue, I encounter problems when I am in a game/app and then try to return to the menu. This goes for disc, WiiWare, Channels, even Homebrew; there's a chance that, returning to the menu, the screen just goes black. I have to shut the Wii down and restart it to get it working.

It never goes to a black screen when I start the Wii, it works fine with or without the theme.

I tried to uninstall the theme using the .app file from ThemeMii, but it's still giving me this issue despite being on the default theme. I'm confused, and unsure what to do. It doesn't seem bricked, but this is annoying and I would like for it to work properly again, even if I do have to give up my theme. Functionality is more important.

I can give further clarification if necessary, I just really need help with this as I don't know what to do. Thank you! ^^

You can uninstall a theme by reinstalling the stock system menu WAD (download with NUSD, or MMM can download/install without needing the WAD file), make sure you use the same system menu version you already have, missing IOS can lead to bricks if you install a different version, and make sure you reinstall Priiloader after as it will be uninstalled.
