    Yes, but there is no mention there of 'no video signal' or 'bad battery'. That is why I re-posted with this title. So people would find this when googling "no video signal wii u" If the OP of that post wants to mention this in his original post, then we can merge it all in one.

    My problem was, that didn't work, because it doesn't do a full format. It ends up creating two parallel partition tables on your USB. One seen by your XBox, and the other seen by your PC. The full format is the key.

    Aahhh, I never removed the clock cap. What was the problem with that cap? What issues did it cause (besides burning out)

    I worry that since the caps exploded, it wasn't the adaptors, but the PSU.
