    That’s just it, man; I dunno. We bought it for Christmas last year along with a handful of games and a 20” monitor for $100.

    Ah, then it's probably one that just can't play PS2 games. There was only a few that could in the very beginning of the PS3's life, most can't sadly :/

    Bummer. I mean, we’ve got a dozen or so PS2 decks along with plenty of cordage in the closet, but I was kind of hoping to NOT have to drag out/hook up when I want to play our PS2 games, sigh.

    ALL PS3s should be backwards compatible.....c’mon, Sony....

    Insurance is one those things you pay all your life for, no questions asked, all is fine, they take your money. And as soon as you make a claim or something happens, they never want to payout or help, just fight you on everything if it cost them any of your money.
