Thank you for all the info DinohScene!
I think you've sold me on RGH. It sounds like it would be worth the effort to find someone to do it for me. I think it's possible to find an experienced modder in town so I'll attempt that first and see what I come up with. Happy I came here before...
Wow thanks for the quick reply!
Not interested XBLive for this system at all, so RGH does sound extremely sweet for it... except I'm not comfortable with soldering at all, but it does point me in the right direction to find someone that has done this before.
That is why I was looking at xKey...
I dusted off my modded 360 that I hadn't booted up in over a year and now I'm trying to figure out what would be best to enable it to play newer games, or even figure out what it's current limitations are. Hopefully someone can help.
It's a phat system that was last flashed sometime in 2011...
Would someone be kind enough to point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to set up the cheat codes and where to get them? I already have Homebrew Channel and Gecko OS on my system and I'm usually able to follow most tutorials. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got Gamma working through the Homebrew Channel (tested with Force Unleashed), and I'm able to install the loader channel (tried a few different ones). When I try launching any of the Loader Channels however, it just brings me back to the Wii Menu. Cam to the conclusion that it's because the Wii...
Something odd. I can't get any of the Channels to work. It just brings me back to the Wii Menu Screen. Gamma works from the Homebrew Channel however. Anyone have any ideas what I might be missing?
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
