To me, they signify trying stand out in a crowd or expressing yourself... unfortunately, with everyone getting tattoos, you'll stand out just like everyone else... ie, tribal, kanji...

    Fish eye lens. The entire 'The Dog' series is based on it. It's a psychological effect that gives them the qualities of babies(big heads, big eyes...) People inherently gravitate towards it.

    For me, DRE's are just bad burns. This happened to me with MK. Reburned using different media.

    School may seem to have a lot of 'useless' subjects, but they cover a wide gamut to steer students to a specific field. If you cut out biology and chemistry, there would be no doctors... math and science create engineers... history and poli sci give you economists and politicians... etc...

    The picture is a bit flat in terms of contrast. You're losing a lot of detail and texture. Cameras tend to flatten images when they take an average of the available lighting, so you're going to lose detail in the darks and the lights. Hope you don't mind, I adjusted the local contrast to show...

    My first mod was melting plastic tabs in the cartridge slot with a soldering iron on the SNES to play import games. Ah, the good old days.

    It's going to be tough, but not impossible. The biggest drawback is having to essentially learn a new 'alphabet'. With the other languages like French and German, you have regular Roman letters which you can at least sound out. Project JDS is a good place to start, DS homebrew...

    I'd be nice if you gave us more details than just 'it's not working'. Where are you downloading from, pub or private site? Can you download from pub sites like mininova? Do you have a download cap? What ports are you using? Are you uploading anything/seeding at all?
