New SWISS update with preliminary Memory Card emulation.
An SD Card Adapter is listed as one of the requirements; anyone know if this includes SD2SP2? Or is it limited to SDGecko type devices? I'm interested in trying this out in conjunction with GCLoader.
Yep, still using this setup (NA Gamecube modded to J) with all games forced to SJIS, and still no problems encountered with saves.
(EDIT: Just to clarify in case there is any confusion, I am playing mostly Japanese releases except for games originally authored in the west.)
Ah, I'm getting "Currently, there are no sellers that can deliver this item to your location" from this link, it must be because I'm in Canada right now.
It does look like the Ebay link will work (but no discount unfortunately).
Strange, for me it just showed:
Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.
... and no link for buying options. Just checked again and still the same.
Ages ago I had one of these made by a proper furniture company, padded like an armchair and tastefully upholstered in fabric. It was very comfortable. Looking at these flat backed chairs covered in non-breathable vinyl, probably not so much.
Also have a 39001 here that I'd love to add this mod to... if the few issues mentioned above get sorted out I'd be interested in picking one up for sure.
Wow, love how Swiss now boots instantly after power on with the GCLoader!
Also cool that this feature works automatically without requiring a firmware update for the ODE.
Still have my original Wii with GC ports, all set up with Nintendont (via USBLoaderGX); but here I am back with my old Cube and a new GCLoader and loving it :)
After region-modding my Cube to NTSC-J and testing out quite a few games with the GCLoader (everything forced to SJIS), I would agree with this.
On the other hand, the Japanese games that I know of having a problem being forced to ANSI are:
Kururin Squash
Donkey Konga 1-3
Mr Drillier: Drill...
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
