I was playing Donkey Kong Country yesterday, and man do I suck at Mine Cart Carnage now.
Not the emulator's fault, I'm just old. Maybe I can blame the knockoff Gamecube controller, a little.
I do have the snes mini, but man the crt feel is irreplaceable... Otherwise it's perfect for anyone who wouldn't be bothered playing on a modern tv/monitor.
My other alternative is using a pc and a pc crt monitor, i could play games at 240p...
The lag in SNES9x GX (and all variations) on the Wii is a real bummer. I think it's a combination of using a relatively low-powered device for SNES emulation and wireless controllers. You can fix the latter, but not the former. I've moved my SNES...
Yesterday things weren't working correctly, I deleted settings file but didn't helped. I used 4.5.3 and that was working fine.
I suddenly remembered that I had a spare SD. So I used 4.5.4 in SD and it was working fine.
So I went back and placed...
I have tried SNES9X GX a few days ago right after installing it on my newer Wii, and I did not notice any lags. I was using an original Wii Remote with an original Classic Controller. I have tried Super Mario World and Super Castlevania 4 for...
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
