Why did updating aroma delete my folders?

My games organized into folders on the Wii U menu are gone after updating Aroma?

This is after using aroma previously and just updating to the newest version.

Is this normal?

How can I prevent this next time?

I had them nicely organized :-(

Yeah that's normal, if you go back to Tiramisu (and I guess Haxchi too) your old folders should still be there, so I guess Aroma uses a different file structure.

Oh, nevermind then, I just noticed there was an update 3 hours ago, maybe something was changed that deleted your configuration, I haven't used my console in the last couple of weeks, I'll update and let you know if my folders or any other stuff gets deleted or changed.

Ok I just updated to the latest version of Aroma and all my folders are intact, so my guess is that it's something related to your hard drive. I remember one time I connected my HDD using the Y cable but only connected one port, so it wasn't getting enough power as it didn't even display any game. I turned the console off and then back on and now the games did appear but all my folders had been deleted.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
BakerMan @ BakerMan: would you rather have unlimited bacon but no games, or games, unlimited games, but no more games?
