apparently you can load it with SDcafiine on aroma even with version 4.2 but the maps are not available. Someone says in a video that it needs a 100% save to make it work.

That would be awesome but I really doubt if. What keeps you from trying? There are enough 100 % saves on the internet. :)

How would it work on Aroma? It needs a plugin through the homebrew launcher on tiramisu to work. Which doesn’t exist on aroma

me? if so, i dont like just getting everything at once.
You don't have to. I talked about "testing".
You use SaveMii to:
- backup your current save
- "restore" a downloaded 100 % save from the internet
- check whether it's working in Aroma (spoiler alert: it won't)
- restore your own save
- report back here

However, I'd be surprised if MikaDubbz wouldn't be aware of this and since he still claims it won't work in Aroma, that's highly likely the case.

Is it just me or am I missing left bottom corner the current position you’re racing? It’s just a yellow box for me? Didn’t read this anywhere or must have missed it

Fresh installed aroma and tiramisu

Let me guess, you have a PAL copy of the game? If so, there a few extra hoops you have to jump through to get everything running properly without graphical errors and the like. They are outlined within this thread, so read up in this thread a little more and you should be able to get it working properly.

Thx

Edit: derp think I forgot Europe patch on SD card, though I did download it

Just install the US version for this mod.
This way you can also keep one game vanilla and clean.

Dropping out of a track and helicopter tries to put you back on track, my youngest daughter managed to have following issue twice:

Drop out of track, helicopter in a loop of putting back on track but failing resulting in loop that race can’t end

EUR version 4.2 maybe too high (only just started mk8u recently after always having this version and hence it loaded I thought all was fine) so now I’m doubting if v4.2, incl eur update and dlc installed, is already too high ?

Ps tried with us version but it doesn’t even load so still on EUR for now
PS2 looked through topic searched but no avail of this found yet

At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...

@Psionic Roshambo, Yeah, BonziBuddy was both spyware and ad-ware. It collected children's personal information without consent as well as display fake Windows popups.
