This is probably because the game id of dump you're using doesn't match the corresponding game id of the cheat table. There were revisions of many DS games, and, many modified dumps were released into the web over a decade ago. Use r4cce to clone to manually edit the Game ID/Code of the cheat table to the one of the game you're running and see if it works.
Yay, it worked! But now when I try to launch the game with the cheat activated (inifnite money), the game crash with the message "Warning, data abort!". Is it because I have already played the game? Do I have to restart a save?

It means that the cheats don't work with the rom dump of the game that you have. You don't have to restart the save; you'll need to find a rom that has the same game id as the original game id of the cheat table before you changed it.

@DeadSkullzJr :

Hi! Firstly, thank you for your effort maintaining this huge cheat DB.

FYI, it's so big that original CycloDS Evo flashcart refuses to use this current "user.evoCheats" and takes "default.evoCheats" instead. As far I know, the cheat DB update of may or June 2023 still worked out of the box with this flashcart, but not anymore. I don't know if iEvo flashcart has the same problem than regular Evo.

And lastly, I'd like you add some Spanish fantranslations to your cheat DB. What do I need to send you so you can work on it?

I have the same problem. I have a CycloDS for my old dslite and the latest cheat base does not work. I have to use an old “user.evoCheats” file from 10 years ago.
Is there any way to get the June 2023 file? I can only find the latest version, which is the one that doesn't work.

@DeadSkullzJr:

Hi,

first thank you DeadSkullzJr for your effort.

With your help i found so many codes for Pokemon Soul Silver (German Version). Most of these Codes where Lost for many years and i wasnt able to create them since there is no german Pokesav.

My Question is: does someone know the Action Replay Code for Version exclusive

- Embedded Tower Kyogre (for Soul Silver)
- Embedded Tower Groudon (for Heart Gold)

I found the Code for English/US Rom but not for Europe/German Version.

Hi DeadSkullzJr,

I wanted to suggest a cheat that might be useful for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver. It's called "Increase Game Speed v2" and can be found under the "Game Enhancements" section. Since battles in generation 4 can be quite slow, I've found it to be a helpful addition that I can't play without.

In case you haven't come across it yet, you can find it in the database from the kernel provided by r4isdhc.com.cn. I've attached it below for your convenience. I hope you can consider adding it to your database.

Some games already have anti piracy cheats in the database. Not all of them need it though to work. The reason for that is because most flashcarts have anti piracy patches built into the internal firmware of the flashcart itself.
Due to the development of Twilight menu++, many NDS will use this software to run games, and the AP support effect of this software is relatively average. Using Golden Finger may solve this problem

Not sure why you responded to an old 2017 post. A minor correction to myself though, the AP patches are built into the kernel not the firmware. Second, are we talking "golden finger" as in the cheat aspects of things? If so, cheats already exist for this.

Sorry, I didn't notice the time because I couldn't find a suitable AP patch for the game I was playing. I have found a solution similar to ROM, which is to use "golden finger" to avoid AP. During the search process, I happened to find your post and replied accordingly.Yes, that's what"golden finger"r means. Part of my content is translated, so the language is not accurate

Sorry if this has been asked before. But is there a way to simply view or read the cheats database on PC? All the options in the OP appear to be for playing the game.
I remember over a decade ago, CycloDS had a cheat tool which let you check every game/cheat in the database. Just wondering if we have anything like that.

Edit: Someone else asked this question in this thread just over a year ago, and was recommended R4CCE (R4 Cheat Code Editor). This is old man 2008 software, and the link provided had expired. For anyone else looking, here's an archive of R4CCE, but this does not speak to the usability/quality of the software.

Second edit: It's a bit clunky, but I can confirm R4CCE does allow us to view and edit cheat codes within a cheat database. Great for me as this allowed me to add cheats into my Delta emulator on iPhone! It's been great to enjoy the undub version of Suikoden Tierkreis again - it was a fantastic game which suffers from an obnoxious random encounter rate. All fixed with a cheat code.

    If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
