  • I've never really been into Kirby games but judging by the fact that I'm getting close to 100%-ing Forgotten Land, I have to say that I've been missing out! I threw Kirby Super Star Ultra on my DS and I'm really enjoying that too, so anyone that would like to mention their favorite would be super awesome!

Of course Super Star is going to be on the list, mentioning it at last because I read you're already playing it. Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes are awesome.

Squeak Squad is the obvious favourite but I really can't recommend Planet Robobot enough. It's a game so lovingly built around its theme and oozing with style and charm. Never expected to enjoy it as much as I did.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll need to fix my 3DS so I can try Robobot, but I'll definitely give the others a try with my DS and my Switch
I was pretty on the fence about Legends: Arceus, but after the newest video it may have hooked me in. I'm going to wait until reviews, but I may actually buy a Pokemon game for the first time since Y.
I've never really been into Metroid, but Dread is actually pretty fun, and the E.M.M.I.'s definitely raise your heart rate!

Just did a little switch theme editing, and all I have learned so far is that switch theme creators have much more skill than me.
RIP Mario, too bad Nintendo is killing him this month

No major losses, really. Those games were trash anyway, IMHO.
Though it does prove, once again, how flawed digital games are in terms of preservation compared to physical - remember that PT thing? Or all those licensed games that expired?

Exactly, I am fairly strict on buying physical for most of my games. I would hate to see hundreds of my dollars spent on games just be gone at the snap of some mega-corps fingers (as has happened before)

I used to play Spider-Man: Friend or Foe a ton as a kid, on the PS2; found it quite fun back then. Nowadays, I can't go back and re-experience it, since it's long since been delisted from digital stores. That's dumb.

@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Yea I got confused for a bit

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
