    300$? What are you talking about? It's 339€ (376$) and that's for just the system, no docking station or anything with it, the system with the two joycons! When I get 450€ for the ENTIRE MONTH for bills, rent and everything, how am I supposed to pay for something that expensive? Most other systems here had price drops after the first year, only Switch hasn't:/

    I don't have a switch, probably never will. Hopefully the yuzu emulator improves exponentially.

    How does one make time in uni for videogames? Haven't been able to touch my 2DS or even emulate BoTW or anything. Disappointed in moi :/

    If things are like that for you, then sure. Here we don't even have game rooms or anything like that, don't know what uni you go to, but there's not a single uni in the country here with such a thing... As for the asshat, I just can't enjoy a game if I'm not playing alone (as in being alone in the room), so I would do the same:P

    While our uni doesn't have a games room per say, we do have a room for games dev students where we're encouraged to install our games and play out of lab time lol. Time is what you make of it friend, it's just as easy to find it as it is to lose.

    Yeah. There's this really nice science complex at my university, with 5 floors and couches and chairs everywhere. While me nor anyone I know has classes there (it's mainly for research), It's a good place to study or just to hang out.

    To the people who think the Switch is basically an android based tablet: No. The similarities start and stop with the Tegra 4.
    Does anyone here mine cryptocurrency?

    Isn't it pointless to do? The electrical cost to run a rig outweighs what you can possibly mine.

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Speaking of which

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    This one lady... her son kept installing Kazaa... OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
