apparently he stole a bunch of people's 3DS or something. Scroll down on the profile and it should explain everything (I still don't get why he's not banned)

Yeah just saw the 2nd page of here, it seems he fooled most people by offering 3DS hardmods and unbricks just to steal their money and/or console. Its absolutely unbelievable that it isn't banned.

I'm not justifying the fact that the moderators are giving special treatment; just saying that this circumstance parallels reality: the upperclass, middleclass, and lowerclass citizens under a government.

It's more like a prison complex than it is a government. I didn't send him anything, but If I bricked he was my go to(which luckily I didn't). If I were some of these people that got scammed. I would have posted his information all over the internet. I don't know why the current generation of youth tolerate this.

I think the idea was to keep the account active so if he does have a change of heart, he can contact the people the directly. Banning him outright would only complicate matters and it make much harder. At the same time I don't think that's going to happen, but that's most likely why he's not banned
Im Still very salty, I sent him a black new 3ds xl, and a regular 3ds aqua blue + over 100 dollars. Hes such a cunt.

you should be salty, why dont you expose his details so that others know of him?
I got it back alive, but the bad news is that my Limited-Edition-Pokemon-Clear-Red-2DS got portion cut out from the opaque side of it, with little damage to a clear side.
I only needed to unbrick, not install a port, as I didn't want to destroy the unit casing.

Despite the ups and downs, I thank you for returning my unit.

It's been a long 8 months for all of us, and I can finally move on.
    Peace out

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
