Hacking Help! - I bricked my Acekard 2i .. i now how have white screen
Your milage may vary, but my fake R4 (R4 III) non sdhc model will "see" the 8gb card, and it will access it, but only until it gets filled to 4GB+ then bad things happen (major corruption). Upto 4GB it works, so should be good enough to load only the update with. Wouldn't be no hassle to try...- ozzymud

using 2.0.4 (r1) just copied 150+ games into my 1TB fat32 partition... GX code dumped on selecting the partition also, i couldn't seem to select many files to cue up to copy... ok, so i guess im prepared as much as possible then preloader that loads newid HBC (JODI) dont do stupid crap (delete system menu wad, stub out ios60) that about the only things that could brick my wii? I only run games backed up to a usb loader, dont update preloader to the new .30rX till...- ozzymud

The R4SDHC is not an R4 nor is it an R4-III. None of the R4 knockoffs (they aint really clones) that i have tested will work properly with SDHC over 4GB. I wouldnt /count/ on support, the N5 does somehow seem to be adding support that the R4 didnt have, but then there is the whole N5 sdslot pins bricking(blowing a fuse) on your DS... the R4-III, ND1, NPlayer use the same type of firmware as the N5 (N5 releases theirs 1st then the rest follow)...- ozzymud

Works fine on mine. Keep in mind there is a limit to the # of books you can have in a given directory. Dunno if you loaded it up and copied a bunch of books... if so try it with only 1 book... if that works, the limit is like 30 per directory iirc.- ozzymud
