Wii #1023 - Sonic Unleashed (Europe)

More likely the issue is the fact that a lot of euro SD users use RGB SCART, which results in a red tint to the screen when playing NTSC games. Dirty merkins usually use composite (or s-vid for the upper class types) and don't have proper RGB.

    Hacking Read errors?

nero is piss poor, verbatim 16x discs are best burned at 8-16x. You'll get elevated PIFs at 6x. Where are the verbatims manufactured? Indian verbs are quite bad, Taiwanese and Japanese are much better quality.

Hacking How to tell if your DX DSTT is a FAKE.

Besides all of that, it's easily avoided by buying the new packaging ones from DX ( http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15613 ). AFAIK nobody has been sent a fake after ordering one of those (as of yet). If you try to save 20p by ordering one of the others, then what do you expect but fakes?

Hacking How to tell if your DX DSTT is a FAKE.

Isn't that what tanas has been saying all along? You were insisting yours was original without opening it whilst tanas opened his.

    Hacking Toshiba/Trascent/Sandisk 8GB ?

Sandisk (as usual when it comes to microsd) is about the worst in the selection. I'd take the Toshiba, then Transcend over sandisk any day.

Wii #1023 - Sonic Unleashed (Europe)

US wii "scene" pretty much doesn't exist - it is all lame webwares kiddies (with a few exceptions). Euro groups still just about exist.

Crying..Captain America Actor Pulls Cliffhanger 4 Cancer And Dream In

is that some kind of cheezy 1980's american tv show or something? I couldn't watch much more than 45seconds of it.

Wii #1007 - Sonic Unleashed (USA)

As close to sonic 2 as poss, whilst introducing lots of new elements.

    Hacking DX is selling DSi's...

I usually receive items from DX/PA/other asian shops within 3-4days after they are sent out. The slow part is the store actually shipping, which with DX often takes a while.

    Hacking Animal Crossing:CF Loading Fix

If it is such a boring game anyway then why goto the bother of downloading it at all? It's hardly like you need to try it again and again (what with it just being a port) to find out it is boring? And you certainly don't need to goto the effort of resizing partitions to speed up loading if it...

    Hacking 3x or 6x ?

Prolly because lots of people noticed it was only 3x and the people behind wiikey verified this. ;-p 3x or 6x won't make a difference to the life of your DVD drive - if 3x is fast enough for you then fine. Anyone who has flashed a 360 will have had the choice of setting their drive to read at...

You should - it is always a bad idea to give advice unless you understand the technical "jargon", otherwise you are just parroting what someone else says. =]

    Hardware WiiJunkies issue on Hackintosh

Dualboot windoze? ;> Seriously no idea - aren't all chips region free/contain update skipping code anyway now? Or use starfall on the wii if you have an old chip without.

    Hacking Animal Crossing:CF Loading Fix

No, teq is claiming that when an iso is scrubbed the data is moved to the begining of the partition (and that his "fix" moves the data to the outside for faster reading). This isn't the case. When an iso is scrubbed the data stays exactly where it is, but the garbage is replaced with 0xFF/0...

    Hacking Animal Crossing:CF Loading Fix

So you would rather take a messed up iso over a clean one? One that you (think you) have to open in wiiscrubber and "fix" before you can actually burn it? Fair enough, for the sake of 9minutes I'd rather save the hassle and just unrar and burn a clean copy.

Hacking Does the Wii DVD Dumper harm the Wii's laser?

No the poster did not, look at the title of the topic: "Does the Wii DVD Dumper harm the Wii's laser" That is a completely different question, and irrelevant to the current discussion. The WOD Drive can read DVD's, but it isn't a DVD drive. Just like a Bluray drive can read DVDs but isn't a...

    Hardware WiiJunkies issue on Hackintosh

hehe. I've just given it a try and same issue for me.

Hacking I'm almost done setting up backup launcher need just a little bit

Not downloading from torrentsites is a good way to help ensure you only get good releases. ;-p check ludibria and get the releases listed there rather than some mess ripped by an idiot without a clue over a broken wifi connection. If it's not nuked then its 99.9% chance that it's a good iso.

    Hacking New #002 protection?

It's worked for lots of people, I've not done it personally but I can confirm it works.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
