The game isnt even out yet.Is there a 60 fps mod for fire emblem engage?
[#01a 60 FPS ★]Theres a 60fps code available on cheatslips. I would post the link but new account.
Here’s the link for those who might come along afterwards.Theres a 60fps code available on cheatslips. I would post the link but new account.
Why do so many games chain speed to framerate? There's one, but it "just" change the framerate cap to 60.
So there are issues, like :
- Movement on battlemap is at 2x speed
- Menus are at 2x speed
- Character movement while exploring maps after battle is also at 2x speed.
- No idea about actual character attacks, hard to say tbh
It becomes a pain to move your char on the battlemap, so I prefer to stay at 30fps for now, while we hopefully get a proper 60fps mod
Because it's less taxing on CPU to use fixed timings. It makes sense to use it only if you don't target PC and you're sure your game will deliver consistent performance (f.e. Animal Crossing)Why do so many games chain speed to framerate?
If you can't fix the speed up issue in FE:E with 60fps, I guess nobody canBecause it's less taxing on CPU to use fixed timings. It makes sense to use it only if you don't target PC and you're sure your game will deliver consistent performance (f.e. Animal Crossing)
I think if MRComputerRevo still active doing patch stuff, probably masagrator can fix it. He helps masagrator before with FE Three houses. If you can't fix the speed up issue in FE:E with 60fps, I guess nobody can

But too bad he isn't active anymore.
I didn't notice acceleration at the beginning in engage. It didn't seem to happen in the battle performance, but it was very fast in the menu, which forced me to turn on v-sync again to return to 30FPS (I didn't use cheat, but disabled v-sync, because disabling v-sync in FE Warriors in 2017 can reach 60FPS without acceleration)Because it's less taxing on CPU to use fixed timings. Any chance for a dynamic scaler removal patch?Because it's less taxing on CPU to use fixed timings. It makes sense to use it only if you don't target PC and you're sure your game will deliver consistent performance (f.e. Animal Crossing)
probably bad emulation on yuzu, should work fine on ryujinxI have a different problem. While my PC Rig could easily run it at 60 fps, after a while i get those annoying lags in between whenever i change to another character, the scene or battle. Anyone has an idea what it could be?View attachment 348684

Any help on this matter is appreciated. Thank you
I turned off Freesync on my monitor too.
Yeah, i changed to Ryujinx. So much better and smoother. No comparison over Yuzu.probably bad emulation on yuzu, should work fine on ryujinx
So I found a way to fix the issue via YouTube. Also, it seems that the cheats for the game so far are not for the US region as the build ID's are different.I can't even install this cheat on atmosphere because Edizon in the tesla menu crashes and won't open back up unless you restart the switch. Seen other people on YT with the same issue.
