Must admit i would like to completely Virginise my WiiKey'd Wii, but not 100% confident what what progs i need and what order to use them in. I must have sooo much shite hiding away on my wii from the last 2 years that it would be nice just to clear it all out

Maybe installing them again with this newer version will overwrite the old, and then u should be able to unistall them with v5, not sure it that would make duplicate copies of it or not though??

Doesn't appear to be that way. Both 0.3 and 0.5 give me the same message, and I can't find 0.4 anywhere, so I probably didn't use that one to begin with.

I don't know if I want to try and install over them. like I said, I think I'll just go ahead and semi-delete the HBC using the Wii's system menu.

So what steps are you taking Xta Large??.....

Use AnyTitle Deleter to delete IOS250
Run Wad Manager and remove custom channels (Do NOT delete any IOSes or system menus)
Run Hackmii installer and uninstall Bootmii, HBC, DVDX
Update wii
Format wii

Wont this put you on version 4.2FW. i would like mine to be at 3.2

I guess after the format you could run:

bannerbomb
hackmii installer
IOS Downgrader
cIOS downgrader to 3.2E????

I guessing that would work???, im just a bit worried of using ATD!!, if someone could give a more indepth guide as what you shouldnt delete from ATD then that would be better. Any would these steps complete remove everthing homebrew??

Did the first two, but couldn't uninstall Bootmii/HBC/DVDX using Hackmii so (since we're just returning it to CostCo, not Nintendo) I just deleted the HBC channel through the Wii's system menu. I'm kind of apprehensive about updating to 4.2 since I heard it's bricking Wiis, but at the same time if this Wii bricked that'd just make it easier to return. so I'll go ahead and update it, and after that I'll format it and return it.
