Hacking Animal crossing played on hacked wii?

This is just a quick question. I have a wii with firmware 3.4 I also have it hacked so i can play games using backup launcher. my question is, since i already have firmware 3.4, will Animal crossing still update my firmware, and if it does, will it mess my wii up.

if your on 3.4 then you shouldn't get the update .... but then again you may ... but no it won't affect you ... I have 3.3u updated from 3.2 with animal crossing .. and everything still works (wads and all). gonna downgrade again and starfall my wii

I can't speak for myself here so take it however you want but: I remember reading on the compatibility list for loader someone reported an issue with 3.4 and WiFi on AC (if its a backed up copy that is).

Theres a file floating around these boards called animal_crossing_fix. Grab that and install it with wadmanager. Its IOS38, apparently its to do with wiispeak or something.

dont even bother with 3.4, it isnt good there are no benefits at all... really
downgrade to 3.2u and starfall, then just download the scrubbed brick free torrent version thaths out there... it was only a couple of megabites!!! thats it!!!

I have a 3.2u wii with starfall and gamma loader loads animal crossing without problems. Wifi works great as well. in reallity all you need is the scrubbed and brick free wrision of the game.

There are some benefits. There are faster read times from SD cards, such as copying virtual console games from SD card to Wii memory and visa versa.
If you have starfall installed, you don't need to use brick blocker to remove the updates; starfall blocks them anyway if you install that feature. His Wii is 3.4X anyway, so he wouldn't get the update anyway because Animal Crossing has a 3.3Xv2 update. He might still have to get the IOS38 installed (for WiiSpeak compatibility and Animal Crossing WiFi).

hmm... if you want to get the real game then nothing will be a problem... if not here is what you need to do:
1. Starfall is not necesary... this is a patch for the system that enables you to recover from a semi baner brick... something that fixes your wii when you installed a bad wad...
2. Downgrading is not necessary as well if you do not want to Starfall your wii.
