Hacking Anyone ever try this with the EZ Flash GBA Expansion?

So, I had an M3 GBA Expansion because I could use it in both the DS Phat and DS Lite, however, it recently just plain stopped working. I bought an EZ Flash 3-in-1 as a replacement, but I got the DS Lite-only size. I'd like to sell my DS Lite now because I have a 3DS, keeping my DS Phat because it has some sentimental value to me. But enough wasting your time:

I want to put the guts of the EZ Flash 3-in-1 Expansion in the M3 GBA Expansion DS Phat-sized casing. Is this possible?
