Yeh majora's might work with some tooEither that or perhaps Majora's Mask?
Worth noting that Perfect Dark does work injected, but it's glitchy.
GoldenEye: It functions... Badly. Very badly. If anyone can get Goldeneye working, I'll put you in my sig.
Probably to save space. I don't know why Ninty even stored all those files in there. Those are config files for games, but you wouldn't need those anyway, except the one for the ROM.Also worth to mention only a single .ini file is in the folder.
Well they did have configs for unreleased games. Even games unlikely to be released.Probably to save space. I don't know why Ninty even stored all those files in there. Those are config files for games, but you wouldn't need those anyway, except the one for the ROM.
ME TOO! So far, my OG Xbox plays Goldeneye flawlessly, but can't run Perfect Dark. I run Perfect Dark on my Xbox One with the Rare Replay. I I essentially can play them with almost perfect emulation, but I'd like to play them back on Nintendo.Still waiting for the day I can run GoldenEye/Perfect Dark on Wii U (Wii came kinda close with Not64) so I can finally put my N64 into storage
Did some injecting shenanigans.
Banjo-Kazooie: Works fine. Only played to the menu, though. Screen not centered.
Banjo-Tooie: NOPE.
Conker's: NOPE.
Diddy Kong Racing: Uh, NOPE.
GoldenEye: It functions... Badly. Very badly.
Paperboy: Works with glitches.
Perfect Dark: NOPE. Probably because I didn't change the header to a Japanese one...
Smash: Works fine.
Somehow I don't think this functioned much differently from any other inject already out there with a DK64 base. These were injected with official Majora's Mask as base game.
I may inject the failed games in Excitebike 64 later... but I don't think much else will work from it.
From what I have seen these all use the same emu (vessel) just with hacks applied through ini.
Is the ini with the newly released excite bike the same one we already had from the collection of inis? (Did I imagine we already had one ages ago?)
Have you tired altering or adding the lines for expansion options to the inis to improve the gameplay? Or copy/alter buffer codes or timers etc?
I realise it's per game and probably used assembly code to address issues with hacky patches, but there must be a way to apply alternate hacks to games via ini through trial and error?
Edit: FWIW I finally completed my Funtastic N64 hardware collection this week (got the elusive smoke controller for the console)! I now own 14 separate N64 units! The irony!
take a look in the thread on that iso site, there you will seeIf more games seem to work... Mind trying Mario 64 Multiplayer?
Understandable! Sorry.take a look in the thread on that iso site, there you will see
" CFW ONLY INJECTED N64 GAMES Regionfree NO REQUEST! "
and before you ask why, i answer you
there are afaik 102 configs ok, i must copy 102 times a single base then overwrite rom changes the name of the rom to the right config ok
or maybe changes a value in the config i can just be one letter, and i have like 12 base roms, 12*102= there are 1224 possibilites uf you dont change and try variable configs to run the game or maybe not,
you have to exit loadiine start loadiine again maybe it freezes the wiiu , when you want to 1224 tests for only one game to work, then make it
i dont have time for this shit
