it might be a back ground music file.

You can't just find a file in a rom with a certain extension and expect it to be a common extension.
Most of the time, ROMs use their own type of files, and it is up to the hackers to reverse engineer them and determine what each file does. Then they would create their own tool to be able to edit the file.

It may be a graphics format. Try opening it with this.

i think it isnt a harmful file..so u may want to ignore it.
