My sister was playing on ds.
She then tried reopening it and the ds was saying could not find dsmenu

so I guess she might have deleted it so I went to my computer and connected my 1gb card
when I saw what was in I was in wtf mode.
There was a single file of around 3gb named smth like &ndfúf!x?
its not really this but anyws

I guess it might be a memory problem so run the windows correction tool by right clicking the drive

It turned out to fixxed half of the problem

That's what is in it now.

From what I've found, usually this is caused by one homebrew program or another. I've heard a lot about this problem with the PDA thing but I thought it had been fixed. I haven't actually had it happen to me before, but I backup my whole card consistently just in case. I haven't seen any way to retrieve the lost data. But like I said it hasn't happened to me so I haven't been totally motivated to find a way

If you use quick-formating, then you'll get them back with this program.

I had the same problem ... about 3 times already, and it always worked.

To prevent this from happening, like said, backup all your data. Also, I would recommend using the latest OS and formatting into FAT32 instead of FAT16. This is the official SD card formatter.

First of which, CALM DOWN. Now, think. Use your logic to determine what buttons to press. If you need help, consult the help menu. The last thing you would want to do is call us for help; we're really bad at that.

These are files that were deleted from the card ealier, or maybe some system files.
But have you found your saves? They should be in one of the clusters.
