Ok so I just put on the bootmii, and decided to do a NAND backup, after all, thats why I installed the damn thing in the first place. So it was checking the blocks and got almost all the way to the bottom, and then it said:

backup failed: -1

Sooooooo, now I am here looking at this screen. What do I do now? Should I restart the wii and try again? What would cause it to fail to create a backup?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I dont know if I should power down the wii or not.

Thanks in advance

Also, does the wavebird not work with bootmii? I tried it with no results

EDIT:

Ok nevermind guys, seems as if somehow I didnt format the SD card I was using, and there was not enough space for the backup. Did a format and all seems to be going well. 15 bad blocks on a launch Wii, not too bad. Still curious about the wavebird though. What are the face buttons on the wii to control bootmii?

I've heard some people say wavebird controllers work, others say they don't. Personally, mine do not work.

Shouldn't you know the face buttons on the Wii if you got to the NAND Backup feature?

Power = Go Right/Down
Reset = Select
Eject = Go Left/Up (and will also eject whatever is in the drive)
