gumbyscout said:How did you put the homebrew applications on your hard drive? Was it in a apps folder, because it doesn't read them for me :/.thebobinc said:NEW FONCTION IN HOMEBREW CHANNEL
it search your fat 32 partition on your hard drive to find apps
so no more need of the SD , it let you use it for Wiiware so more place on your Wii
Read the readme or the website, it's all written there.Gamemaster1379 said:I noticed some mentioned installing this as a IOS/WAD file instead of installing it to boot2. Where would one find such a file for Bootmii?
pacman366 said:so would it be possible to dump the nand from one wii and flash it to another w/ bootmii? and is there a quicker way to remove preloader than downgrading systemmenu?

Hmm I don't know the answer to that but that's an interesting thought. Theoretically, you could buy two Wiis and copy legally purchased DLC/ WW/ VC stuff to the second Wii that way (though the legality of that is iffy.)

HBC 1.0.2 DOES NOT READ SDHC
Expect HBC 1.0.3 in a matter of days because of this stupid error.

it gives my a pixelated screen of the homebrew channel loading, hope its fixable. I've noticed a few other people have this issue but only a few.

yeah because iv got 2 wiis, one i cant install and cIOSes for the life of me without getting a 1035 error but i WAS able to install bootmii on it , and a got another wii i was able to fully downgrade from 4.0, install all my turcha ioses and up back to 4.0, fully turcha enabled w/ cios v10... im strongly considering taking the plunge, the only thing holding me back is the fact that the nand is encrypted, and i dont know how the keys play a role in boot 1 and specifics of the systems serial number etc...
Since I assume that the nand contains all the Wii's IOSes and cIOSes. It would be awesome if this worked. Because my friend has a Wii which has this most puzzling bug with the GUI when apps like wad manager/usb loader are executed. It works BUT the selection arrow (when wanting to select which wad to install from wad manager) is missing.

heh... I think you are the 1st person to discover that. Anyway, do you have any idea if installing bootmii as an IOS will I still be able to access the sdcard upon power up of the wii to restore the nand or does it only work if it was installed as boot2?
