Hardware Broke off a componant of my R bumper during a mod. What are my options?

Today, while I was working on a mod for my right joycon, I accidentally applied to much pressure to the component of the R bumper that is attached to the board inside, and it snapped off completely. It appears to have been soldered on.

The attached images are of the broken element. The first five photos are of the part that broke off. The next two are showing where it broke off on the Joy-Con. The last two are components that fell out when it broke off.

Am I screwed here? Is there even a chance that I can fix this on my own, if I had a soldering iron?

Is my best bet to sent it to Nintendo for repairs. If so, will they even repair it, since I have a non-standard shell?

I'm thinking that I could potentially take all the components out of the current shell and place them back in the original shell, since I still have it. That would probably fix the issue of the non-standard shell if I sent it in for repairs.

Looks like when you broke it off, it took the contact pad from the pcb with it. It miiiight be possible to shave some of the silkscreen off with a razor blade to expose some of the trace and solder the contact directly to that, I suppose, but that's a total shot in the dark.

Buying a used joy-con from a game shop would likely be much less hassle than trying to repair or sending to Nintendo.

You'll need to replace the button. It's a $5 part from ebay. Anyone with experience soldering can fix this.
You ripped the pad off the controller, but the trace is there and easily accessible. It looks like the first and third pin connect together, so you might not have to do anything in terms of repair. Otherwise, you'll have to expose the trace line and solder it to the pin on the new button.
