The HackMii installer is an .elf and the elf to dol converter always fails to convert it correctly

Just rename it to boot.dol, that worked for me.

Bannerbomb can load elf-files.
Just rename your elf-file to boot.elf and place it in the root of your sd card.

I do not know, which one whould be loaded, if boot.elf and boot.dol exists together in the root.
Just delete or rename your boot.dol (if exists) to get sure, bannerbomb is going to load boot.elf.

bannerbomb tries, just like the twilight hack, first to boot boot.dol, and if it doesn't exist, it uses boot.elf
