Hacking Can I just update my Emunand from 9.7 to 9.8?

So... I have an Emunand that I use with the RxLauncher (I don't have GW). I could update it from 9.6 to 9.7 (I have the Sysnand and the Emunand ¨separated¨. I formatted the Emunand when I had just created it) and I'm afraid of updating from 9.7 to 9.8. Can I just update the emunand from the menu? Or do I have to do any other thing before?

I updates mine to 9.8 without problems. You should make a backup of your emunand though. That way, you can always roll back.

No, backing up the emunand partition will only backup the emunand itself (using emunand tool)
if you want to back up your installed games, make a copy of the "Nintendo 3DS" folder on the root of your SD.
