Hacking Emulation Can I replace a WAD's boot.elf?

I downloaded a WAD for Project+, downwloaded cIOS downloader, downloaded the correct cIOS files, opened a WAD downloader, and downloaded it, but when I launched the P+ WAD, it sent me to the Wii menu. I downloaded Project+ just over a week ago, and I had the same problem, but I researched it, and it said to replace the boot.elf with Gecko's, and that worked. So is it possible to replace a WAD's boot.elf? PS. I also downloaded WADs for Kirby 64, SM64, SSB64, and Super Punch Out, and they work.

Use customize mii to replace it's boot.dol, build a forwarder dol using modmii, from it's main menu enter A then F. Modmii can also download customize mii for u from it's download page 2.

not sure if a boot.elf will work, but you'd have to compile something to get it. it's created before linking to the dol.
