So I've been doing some more research into my hoarding issues and found a Sandisk Extreme 1TB SD card on best buy's marketplace for a pretty decent price, my only issue is that I've NEVER used Best Buy's marketplace before, and I don't know if I can exactly trust it...Here's what it looks like for reference, the ratings on the seller are pretty high but there's zero ratings for the SD card itself:
(i'm aware this is a third party seller btw)

I don't really mind waiting a bit for it to ship as long as i get it in the end...and thanks in advance for your input!

Watch this, also there is no bestbuy market place in the US, seem just a thing in Canada

Oh YIKES...Yeah, that's DEFINTELY crossing out my choice to get it from best buy...I won't risk it if this is already some sorta widespread issue, gonna watch the entire video to fill myself in too. Thank you for giving me this vital information...since the listing says I can't return it once I open it this is FAR too risky.

I use NewEgg or Amazon and I usually only buy from the actual manufacturer eg TeamGroup, SiliconPower or buy direct from NewEgg or Amazon.

$133 is a pretty penny and problem with 3rd party sellers is they could have sourced counterfeits from AliExpress.

FYI Amazon have an Ultra 1tb for $109

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
What's really cool about Pi's tho is you can have multiple SD cards with different OS on each SD card and change from say a gaming machine to a full fledged pc if wanted

Plus all bios are set up and usually includes at least 128gbs or 64
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah but if your main goal is just to play n64 and GameCube you can save about $50 and have the portability option

True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display
