Can the retroarch config file be edited to immediately autoboot into a specific game as soon as the retroarch app is launched?

Yeah, like the title reads, can the retroarch config file be edited in such a way where a specific rom (along with a corresponding core) launch immediately when the retroarch homebrew app is launched? I would think this should be feasible, but I wouldn't know what argument(s) to put into the config file, or if that would indeed actually work or not. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

normally that is achieved passing arguments to the core.
On Windows, linux and Switch that is made executig the core directly and passing as argument the path of the rom. I don't know if in wiiU you can create forwarders that way.
