Hey there. Because switch cfw is taking ages, I decided to spend some time with ps2 and play some of the english translated games or something.
Among them, I started FFXII International (burnt it to a disk and running with esr) and instantly got sick of the abominable camera controls.
I found a cheatcode to fix the camera for that game
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/board...-xii-international-zodiac-job-system/74059887
but after trying about a dozen guides, downloads, attachments and whatnotelse of codebreaker versions for freemcboot and all of them always just giving me a black screen, I gave up on that.
So thinking back to my DS days when cheat support wasn't on any flashcard ever, I remembered injecting codes into games instead.
I tried looking online, but the only thing I found seemed to only be about manipulating elf files with a hex editor, so i extracted the elf from the iso, but the adresses specified by the code apparently don't exist in the elf file...
i would've opened the entire iso with an editor to look for the adresses beyond the elf, but unfortunately again, my system crashes when i try.
maybe i'm just blind and walked right through some simple program that would apply the codes to the iso for you, maybe someone tried their hands at this before and could give me some pointers?
