Locking the framerate to 30fps, the game seemingly is running at 60fps but the framerate is pretty unstable, with lot of stutter and slowdowns when many enemies on screen, stutter occurs even when you scroll through the screen.
Edit: a workaround I found is set handheld mode while playing in docked and OC, the graphics suffer a bit but the stutter is gone.
