The short story of it is that they had a bad experience with a roofing company and left two negative reviews on Google, but are now being sued by the business for over $200k for defamation, for the supposed reason that they aren't actual customers, the landlord is. While the real motive is clear, to scare off critiques and get a lot of money in the process. (Read the article for more)

I feel sorry for them and there's a GoFundMe and everything, but you're probably wondering why this is in the EoF.

The internet happened and the company's review page on their website was penetrated. They took the page down and their business on Google as well but, WayBackMachine is a thing.
