I've been getting back into Naruto lately. Of course, there are some who like it, and some who don't; please, I don't want any stupid posts here.

I know for a fact that there HAVE to be some Naruto fans around here.

So can someone answer me this:

Does Kakashi die?

I read somewhere that he gets killed by that Akatsuki dude called Pein, and several of my friends say 'Kakashi died!'... so I did a bit of Googling and came up with nothing but 'IS KAKASHI DEAD?!' threads like this one

Does anyone know, or is this yet to be confirmed on the actual manga series?

This week is fucking retarded. Kishimoto basically reset the entire arc because he didn't know where to go from there. All this emotional turmoil the readers have been put through has been for naught and I despise kishimoto even more than I do Kubo, which is saying something. I just wonder why Nagato let Yahiko die if he could revive the dead. Most of the manga probably wouldn't have ocurred and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Kakashi is revived. And perhaps Nagato didn't have the power/knowledge to revive Yahiko when he was young, or he couldn't because Yahiko pretty much killed himself and Nagato can only revive people he kills.
