-Boss fights
-Better Story Mode
-Improved Combat System


This is almost the definiive 3D fighting game on DS.

I played one of this series for the EZ5 review (it was one of the last 10 games part). A decent 2d scrolling fighter, not a patch on the likes of streets of rage or any of the other similar 16 bit era titles but getting there: too few enemies in both numbers and variations terms (not even a basic palette swap), moveset not as tight, difficulty all messed up and too focused on platforming, less than brilliant story but I did not expect it from a licensed game. Still a game worth a 10 minute play at points and definitely a candidate for a total conversion rom hack.

You're thinking of the wrong game/series. The Shinobi Retsuden games are 3D fighting games. The series you're thinking of is the Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu/Ninja Council series.

There's a typo in the title. Japan is put after the title and also in the Region tag.
